As parents, we can see both our strengths and weaknesses in our children. They are more like us, than we would want to admit.
Q:What does the sentence mean which is underlined above the passage?

It means our children are like us, but we don't want to say so.
Personally, I think it's an erroneous statement. Most parents are proud if their children are like them. |
