Although he had been useful beyond almost any other man his age, he saw much to do.
Q: What is the meaning of underlined phrase and is this expression correct to the english grammar, also?
Thanks, always |

beyond has the meaning of more than. He was more useful than almost any other man his age.
The expression is grammatical, though not used very often. |
