Which are correct:


1-These tyres are for driving on icy roads.
2-These tyres are designed for driving on icy roads.
3-These tyres are designed to drive on icy roads with.


4-This bicycle is for riding in the city.
5-This bicycle is to ride in the city.
6-This bicycle is to be ridden in the city.


7-This bicycle is designed for riding in the city.
8-This bicycle is designed to ride in the city.
9-This bicycle is designed to be ridden in the city.

Dear Navi: #1, #2 are both correct. If you want to use 'to', do it this way, 'These tires are to be driven on icy roads.' .. #4, #6 are both correct. Likewise, #7, #9 are both correct. ok? -- Eric
