Would you please tell me the pronunciation of following words:
Prince, Princes, Princess, Princesses?

Prins (hard S as in "stop").
Prinsuz (hard S; short "u" as in "up")
Prinsess ( hard S; short "e" as in "help" )
Prinsessuz (hard S; short e; short "u")

The stress goes like this:

PRINCE (all equal, one syllable)

PRINces (two syllables)

PRINcess or prinCESS (two syllables and two ways of saying it)

prinCESSes (three syllables)


Hope you're good at your "ssss" sounds Smile
