Above the fire an old-fashioned teakettle was hanging. The water within it was beginning to bubble. A thin cloud of steam was rising and soon the lid began to shake.
How could a teakettle "hang" above the fire?
Thanks. |

The fire was probably in a fireplace, where a metal hook was installed specifically for pots to hang from. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
