Dear teacher:
I have question about the following word using.
propose,advise,suggest.
They all have the same meaning in chinese.
I want to know the difference between them.
And how to use them appropriately.
would you be so kind to answer my questing as soon as possible?

G'day, this is what I associate with the words:

You "propose" a grand plan. It is a bigger event than advising or suggesting.

If you "advise" that someone does something you are implying that you know more about the topic than the person you are talking to. For example, a doctor could give an English teacher advice about health, but not about grammar Wink

When you "suggest" something, you are being a little more humble. It is smaller than a proposal and not as assumed to be correct as advice.

Of course, all this can change depending on the context but this is how people generally use the words.
