Please help paraphrase the following sentence.
If this woman stood up for judgment before us five, would she come off with such a sentence as the judges have given?
What does "come off with such a sentence" mean? Thanks for your kind help. |

It means, would she emerge from the trial with the same prison term (sentence) as the judges gave her?
