Autumn is a lonely season and life is uninteresting. The free days always get me down. But one day, the sound of a violin ____ into my ears.
A. flowed B. ran

Which of is better? WHY?

Thanks

The sentence is rather poetic and neither usage would be common or more correct.

When referring to a sound in ones ears the following are sometimes used:

The song was running through my head.
The song was going through my head.
{Meaning a song that repeats in ones mind over and over,}

The sound of the wind in the trees flowed through me.
{Meaning the sound had a relaxing and deep emotional impact.}
