Dear teachers,
Can you tell me which is the explanation of the word "removein the following sentence?
Three students were removed from school for their usually going to the net bar at night.
A. take sb./sth. away from a place
B. dismiss sb. from their position or job.

Thank you very much!

It means literally, that they were taken away from school.
It could mean that they were expelled.
