I saw a sentence say"A select few students...". I just want to know if we can say " a few select students"?

The preferred order should be "a few select students". You start with the determiner if any (namely, �A�), then the quantity if any (�few�), then the adjective of judgment or opinion if any (�select�) and finally the noun (�students�) itself.
