To pay for thedowry and wedding/marriage father would need a lot of money.


I feel only `wedding� is okay. Am I right?

Here you want the word wedding. The wedding is the ceremony in which two people marry each other. The marriage is the union of two people.

Wedding is the event with the relatives.

After the wedding a couple are in a marriage.

Wedding first, then they are in a marriage.
