Hi,

Could someone tell me what "clutter" means below?
e.g.
"The campaign broke through the clutter and generated buzz..."

Clutter is "things lying about untidily, or and untidy state".
So if a campaign breaks through all the rubbish that elections involve (clutter) and "generates buzz (interest)" It means that something about his ampaign got attention (from the media) and was being talked about.
