Please help me with the following question. "Background temperatures have ________ the level where every summer we are getting to dangerous conditions," he said. (A) reached (B) arrived (C) caught (D) attained The answer is (A), but how about (D)? Is there any difference between these two words in this case? Thanks for your kind help.
