Dear teachers,
I happened to see 2 signs below in a restaurant, but I do not understand what do they exactly mean? Are they kinda humor?

Both of the signs are meant to be for fun.
The first signs is a parody of the idea that sexual harassment being shown in a positive light, instead of a negative one.
The second sign should be read as a service joke. The implicit story is that of a girlfriend or wife calling to see if their boyfriend or spouse is at the bar. The fee is different for each excuse, because it implies that the costlier lies are better quality.
Hope I explained this well enough.
These types of signs are common in middle class restaurants. I have scene them in Jimmy John's. |
