Hello,
Which is corrent "played" or "playing"?
I googled and it seems that both are used.
From my understanding... because someone plays music it should be "played"
Need your help!

Both can be used, but a little differently:
Like music playing in the background, the students do not put all of their attention into instant messaging. [IM is just part of the world, not the big focus. It is like music that is playing in the background.]
His voice is never calm, but always loud and raucus, like music played by deaf musicians. [It is like music that is played by deaf people.] _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
