Hello, reading an article, I came across some expressions
the meaning of which I am not sure.

It's an article about movies...
Recently they all hooked up under one roof at the anahei Convention
Center in Florida in the U.S to meet fans and make a presentation on disney studio's forthcoming film slate
--------------------
1. hooked up
does it mean gather together?
2. film slate
I know it means black slate used when shooting a film
Seems like it means another thing here...
Does it mean just a movie?

Anaheim is the city in Florida where the convention is held.
Hooked up...It means gathered together, met each other, socialized with each other.
Movie slate... It means the list of films that Disney was currently planning to make. |
