Dear teacher,
What does the phrase "on harm" in the following sentence "The eggs had come to on harm---they were so solid as if they had been hard-boiled."? |

It should read:- The eggs had come to no harm...They were as solid as if they had been hard-boiled.
I think you know that means they were not harmed at all. |
