The following is my question.
Which of the followings is wrong?
(A) Will you have finished that report by this afternoon?
(B) Mark and I have not written to each other since a long time.
(C) Grace has lived in Sydney for nearly three years.
(D) I have not seen that movie several times. Its great!
The answer I get is (B), but how about (D)? There seem to be two wrong answers in this question.
I think (D) should be changed into "I have seen that movie several times. Its great!"
Thanks for your kind help. |

Hi www0935,
I agree that both B & D are gramatically incorrect. May be an error in the printing of the source of the question (always worth checking this one with your teacher, who may be waiting to see who the first student to point out the error is, or has not spotted the double answer him/her self).
B of course should be: 'Mark and I have not written to each other for a long time'.
But I am certain that you already knew this, and quite correctly recognised the error in D.
Hope this helps (but you had pretty much answered the question yourself).
Regards
