When we make passive form sentences, people usually use "by" or "through" in front of the agent of action.

Are there any nuance between by and through when we translate the sentences?

He was killed by a truck. You wouldn't say, He was killed through a truck
He was killed through/by the negligence of the doctor.
There's not much difference in meaning.
Through is used in its sense of "by means of".
