Hello, teachers!!
(1) A beautiful lady in a white dress came to me.
(2) A beautiful lady in white came to me.
(3) A beautiful lady with a white dress came to me.
(4) A beautiful lady with white came to me.
I know that (1) and (2) are right, but how about (3) and (4)?

3. Is pefectly OK, but it doesn't necessarily mean she was wearing the dress.
4. Is not OK as it stands. |
