Note that English (as well as all other languages/nationals/religions) is always capitalized, as well as "I", in a formal, written English. When you're emailing a friend or something it's not that necessary, but it's better if you'll get into the habit of writing in a correct English. Also please note that nouns that start with "some" "no" or "any" are always written as one word (anyone, somebody, sometimes, anyways, etc.). Exception: No one.
Your English won't improve if you don't practice it! Is there really nobody you can talk to? Are there no other foreign students where you live? I know that speaking to native English speakers is quite scary, especially since they don't know how difficult it is to learn a new language and they don't have any patience for you. But try to find immigrants or other foreign students, or "friendlier" Canadians!

Here's a message a Canadian girl posted here not so long ago. I think she can help you. Here's what she wrote:

Hi !!!! I want to make a deal with anyone who is interested!!!!-
I'll help you with english and you tell me about your country.culture....!!
Anybody interested e mail me [email protected]

Hope I helped you!

For starters don't write "u" for you. It is the sign of a lazy mind.

I will re-write as follows:

Hi,

My name is Beena, and I live in Hamilton, Canada. My English is so bad that you can say I don't know anything. Sometimes I feel embarrassed. I want to learn English badly but there is no one to help me, so if anyone out there who would like to help, please contact me.

Sometimes I want to talk to people but I can't; and I don't have friends here because of my English. I read books too but I don't understand. I think my brain is empty.

Since my English is so bad, no one wants to talk to me. Although I can understand, I can neither speak nor write well. If anyone wants to help me, please contact me at my Hotmail address, xxxxx.

Take care.

--------------------------------------------

Have a great day.

I feel the quickest way to learn English, verbally at least, is to constantly speak with native English speakers. I've been told that the Greater Toronto area has a large minority group population and in some areas, the use of English isn't even necessary. If I were in your shoes, I'd be persistent and disregard embarrassment. I, too, am from Canada so feel free to MSN me and I'll be more than happy to aid anyone in need of assistance.
