Hi! Theachers Very Happy .
Im reading a novel.
In the novel, a driver of a truck cut a sharp turn and grazed the curb.
I cant imagine this scene clearly. Did the truck lose a wheel literally? Or Did the driver lose control of the wheel?
Could you tell me ?

It means he actually lost a wheel.
On a truck with air brakes this may cause the emergency brakes to activate.
When they do, they make an explosive sound ... (Popping the brakes).
