Hello, teachers!!
Tom is ( ) of a musician.
(1) anyone
(2) anybody
(3) somebody
(4) something
----->
This answer is (4). Why is (3) wrong?
If you consult the dictionary, you find the definition of "somebody," which means "a person of some note or importance."
If you use this definition of the above written, you may put (3) into the parenthesis.= Tom is somebody of a musician.
Thank you in advance. |
