| Dear gusthuber: I haven't heard 'self-chosen boss' used much. From the point of view of the people who have to deal with this person, a better term may be 'self-imposed boss'....'They had a lot of fun, didn't they.' is correct. The 'had' here is not part of a verb phrase of present perfect tense, but rather just the basic verb 'to have'. So, they did have a lot of fun. Ok? -- Eric |
