Are both of the sentences in the following OK?

2 I want to know with whom you played tennis.

2. I want to know with whom you played tennis is perfect English.

I want to know whom you played tennis with is not perfect, but nowadays, is acceptable.

I want to know who you played tennis with is what you will usually hear in everyday conversation. However, it is grammatically incorrect.
