"Thanks, it's nice to be here," is a better reply.
If you reply as in your question, it may be thought that you are saying that you think it's nice for them to have you at their place, which is probably not what you meant. |

Yes, the answer to the question does seem that you are agreeing to their comment that it was nice having you with them, which isn't at all what we mean!! What 'B' meant to say was that he was also happy to be there!! Common mistakes made by people who are not regular speakers of the English Language!! It is very important that we get exposed to the language, listening and speaking to people who are fluent in it, or else these sorts of �mistakes� tend to creep in!!we should make good use of the high school days to get more fluent in language, We can correct such mistakes only through constant interaction with people who are fluent in the subject!! _________________ I Just made my language Right! |
