I have to explain what a hedge means in a class.
Can you please proofread the following writting.
I am really happy if you rewrite it and make it better sentences. Very Happy

Hedge can be used as a noun or a verb.
When you use it as a verb, this means reducing your chances of failing or losing money by trying several different possibillities instead of one.
The word hedge found is said to minimize your risks of losing money using the idea of financial engineering in case stock market is facing an economic downturn.

Hedge can be used as a noun, or a verb.
When you use it as a verb, it means reducing your chances of failing, or losing money, by trying several different possibilities, instead of one.
The expression "hedge fund" is used to denote a fund in which you invest to minimize your risks of losing money when the stock market faces an economic downturn.

It also means to surround with a hedge made of growing plants such as shrubs, bushes, or small trees.

When you use it as a noun it means:-
A fence or boundary made of closely growing bushes, shrubs, or small trees.
A contract entered into, or an asset held as protection against possible financial loss.

A word or phrase used to allow for additional possibilities or to avoid making an over precise commitment, such as, etc., usually, and so on.
