Dear teachers:
I'd like to know about how to memorize and learn vocabulary in more effective ways. I always memorize a vocabulary through its meaning and its synonym. But, I've heard that learning english words through analyzing its prefix and root could be more impressive. Would you kindly provide some suggestions? Thanks for your help.
Best wishes,

When you learn a new word it is stored in your short term memory. As you use it more and more it gets placed in your long term memory. When you learn a new word you should try to use it as often as possible at first, so that it gets put into your permanent, or long term memory.
Once it's in there you will not forget it for very many years. |
