It's entrepreneur. It's a French word we have adopted. It's pronounced,

Excuse me , now i'm still confused about "tra" and "pruh" that you wrote.
Is "tra" pronounced like "tremendous" 's "tre"? ,or "extra" "tra".
About the "pruh",could you make a simple word that has the pronunciation "pruh"? Besides, in this word "entrepreneur",where is its accent?
Thank you for your reply!! |

tra as in extra.
pruh as in provoke, provide, promote.
If you can buy the disk of the Concise Oxford English Dictionary, when you look up a word you can also listen to it spoken. |

| I have the Oxford dictionary & Thesaurus on my mobile (doesn't have audio though, but doesn't matter). It was a long dream realized to have an electronic hand-held dictionary. Windows 6 mobiles support it. |
