"Bring me to life" by the American group Evanescence is the new number 1 song in the UK (8th June). It is used in the film Daredevil, a story which involves zombies (people who have died and been buried, but who come back to life). I like the song very much - interesting words, lovely voice, and a great guitar sound.

I think that a good way to study English and have fun at the same time is to study the lyrics (words) of pop songs. You can find the words to this song (plus a link to a site where you can listen to the acoustic version of the song, and some background information) at:

I think that's funny considering that they are Christian Band. That is, Funny in the way it was used in a movie with zombies(I don't remember that part) like Daredevil.

Hi!I'm kazuopark. I'm Japanese. I like Evanescence too.
When I first listened to their song "Bring me to life" in the movie "Daredevil" , it was impulsive song. After finished this movie, I went to import CD corner in CD shop, and bought their CD "FALLEN". After two months, I bought again their CD, which is sold by Japanese Music Maker. But this CD is not only CD, but includes DVD, which contains promotion video "Bring me to life".
I think that their songs have mysterious power. Maybe it is made from her voice and their coolest sound. And their words is mysterious too, but interesting. So I think that it is useful to studying English.
If you don't listen their songs, let's listen!

I like their songs "Bring me to life" and "Going under" too.

Hello!
I am Japanese.
I like Evanescence too. Very Happy
I felt their music that pathetic and decadent in strong.
I was pleased in almost all song.
But I thought that every song tends to be alike.
How do you feel? Question

In my opinion, I think Evanescence is a good singer group, and it is a good way to study English and lyrics from the pop songs. First of all, Evanescence' s song "Bring me to life" is pretty well, there are many words I learned from this song such as "core", "Bid". I don't have chance to watch the movie "Daredevil", but I like the song very much with her sonds and the MTV is beautiful too. The second one is I also think it is a good way to learn things from the songs. When Evanescence sings their songs, I can hear how they sings and their words are very clear. I can also know where I can put two words toghter and relax the pronunciation. It is a good way to study the English and see how the native speaker speaking. In short, Evanesecence is a really good singer group, and I can learn things and have fun at the same time.It is a good idea to hear Evanescence.
