A) A nightmare is a dream that scares you so much to wake up.
B) A nightmare is a dream that scares people so much to wake them up.
C) A nightmare is a dream that scares people so much that they wake up.

Are A/B/C proper English? Would a native speaker accept A and B?

C: is the only correct sentence of the three.
A and B are almost correct, you can change them like this:-

A) A nightmare is a dream that scares you so much you wake up.
Is correct.
B) A nightmare is a dream that scares people so much it wakes them up.
Is correct.
A) A nightmare is a dream that scares you enough to wake you up.
B) A nightmare is a dream that scares people enough to wake them up.
