As a teacher of ESL, I would like your opinion. What is the most difficult thing about learning English? Is it vocabulary? Is it pronounciation? Is it grammar? |

I think learning english is not easy. Grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation are all important. You must to know about them, and have to study very hard. That why people want to know more the other language. |

Hi
I honestly think that learning anything is easy as long as you have the will and " a good teacher " ... So my answer is " a bad teacher " is the most difficult thing to deal with when u lear a language. |

In my opinion, you should encourage them to speak and think about verything in a English Thought before otherthing else beginning. It will be helpfull for the SEL sudents to get rid of their mother language in study. _________________ Here is looking at you ,kid. |

The pronunciation!!!!!!!! I can improve your grammar by borrowing grammar book, I can increase your vocabulary by reading more, but there's nothing I can do to get rid of my accent (believe me, I have tried, very hard). The worst thing is that most Americans are not used to accented English, some of them have a really tough time understanding you. |

Hi
I think that English is a combination of all the things that you wrote. There is no specific area that is more difficult from the other, and students see the English learning as a whole. I live in Israel and most of the students have difficulties in grammar. As they learn they understand what is being taught in class, but when they need to apply their knowledge in a composition for example, the amount of mistakes is huge.
Bye for now,

Shalom Galit!!!!!!!
Hey, at mi-Israel? Eize yofi!
You're the first Israeli person I met on this website! I was born in Russia, but I've lived in Israel for quite a while, so I speak Hebrew fluently.

I think the most difficult thing is grammar. But listening skills are quite important, too. Sometimes I fell like they are underrated and should be paid more attention to. By listening you get to know the "tone" of a language, you learn how to stress certain syllables and you get a feeling for it that makes you avoid mistakes, for example grammatical mistakes. _________________ "You know, people seldom go to the trouble of scratching the surface of things to find the inner truth."
