Dear teachers:
a) It is indefinite as to what kind of computation is to be performed.
b) It is indefinite as to which kind of computation is to be performed.
Do a) have the same meaning as b)?

| You would probably use which kind if you had already mentioned some different kinds of computation, but that is splitting hairs. Essentially, they mean the same thing. |
