|
|
I saw the vocabulary "lime-cream" in a book. I couldn't understand what the meaning is after using dictionary. Its original text is as followed: "By closely examining the lower part of the lining, it is not hard to learn that the hair is grizzled, it has recently been cut, for there are some sharp clippings, and they are somewhat greasy with lime-cream." I'd like to know if the word can be used as noun or adjective, and how to use?
Thanks for your help! |

| Probably, lime-cream is or (most likely) was a type of hair-dressing. |

| Basically it's a creamy product you put on your hair to make it behave itself or to hold a shape you want. |

It just likes hair gel or hair wax, does it right?
I think I am totally getting what you mean.
