Dear teachers:
We use "Jack and his friends" sometimes.
I want to described a group of people.
Jack is in the group.
case 1. Jack's father, mother, and classmates are all in the group
case 2. A team of people whose relation with Jack is unknown.
case 3. the same as case 2, but I don't want to use "Jack"
ex: "The one" or something except the names.
What can I use as the subject in these conditions?
Thanks for your replies. |

| I am not sure I understand your questions, but "Jack's group" might fit your number 1 and 2 above. |
