Please help me with the sentence.
Choose the INCORRECT sentence.
(A) I thought the performer was famous, but none of my friends had ever
heard of him.
(B) I wondered whether he had ever stopped to think how I felt.
(C) That he says he keeps a unicorn as a pet is the biggest lie I have ever heard of.
(D) We are surprised at the fact that hes ever met Barack Obama in
person.
The answer is (D), but how can I correct it? Would someone help me with it? Thanks a lot. |

How about getting rid of the adverb ever thus: We are surprised at the fact that hes met Barack Obama in person. |
