Is the following sentence correct or wrong?

She was bought a guitar.[as the meaning of " Someone bought a guitar to her.]
I was brought a car.[as the meaning of " Someone brought a car to me.] |

She was bought a guitar. (I think it�s OK) [as the meaning of "Someone bought a guitar to her. (Move the indirect object �her� right next to �bought� to eliminate the conjunction �to� thus: Someone bought her a guitar).] Or A guitar was bought (for) her (by someone).
I was brought (�bought�, not �brought�) a car. (OK). [as the meaning of " Someone brought me a car to me. (Better �Someone bought me a car.� by the same argument)] Or A car was bought (for) me (by someone). |
