"Exercising is how to lose weight." Is this sentence correct to mean "Exercising is the way how to lose weight"?

Thank you.

It means "Exercising is the way to lose weight." or "Exercising is a good way to lose weight." or "Exercising is how you can lose weight." "the way how to" doesn't sound good.

I'm guessing that your native tongue is Chinese and that you learned the phrase "way how" from people who taught you English. Whenever you hear it this way, it is wrong:

Wrong: What is the way how to say it?
Right: What is the way to say it? / How do you say it?

Wrong: I need to know the way how to get there.
Right: I need to know how to get there. / I need to know the way there.

Whenever you are tempted to say "the way how," just say "the way" or "how" and you will be fine.
