Alone in a wheel of light at the dining room table, surrounded by an otherwise darked house

Hill Country "A Wheel of Light" Community Group
Hill Country, TX US
Our goal is individual development. We are mainly an A.R.E. "Search For God" group using the Cayce readings as a means of understanding higher consciousness. We also utilize Unity principles and Native American traditions. We seek to raise our individual consciousnesses by thinking, saying, and doing that which reinforces what we already are - part and parcel of God. Each group member is a facilitator for several weeks while we discuss the topic at hand, currently meditation. We look to IONS for consciousness research available via the IONS web site. We are happy to view the two Edgars (Cayce & Mitchell) as role models.

In the two examples above, what does "a wheel of light" mean? Is it a fixed collocation?

Thanks

In the first example, I picture a single light fixture shining a circle (wheel shaped) of light down into the darkness. The light is thus compared to a large wheel.

In the second case, I think that the name of the organization is "coined" so as to fit some of their beliefs (not specified here).

A question for you Jason, what is "Is it a fixed collocation?", pray tell.

thank you.

What I mean by "a fixed collocation" is whether natives often use " a wheel of " to modify the word "light", just like the case of "a beam of light", which we often hear natives speak.
