Hi. Could anyone kindly tell me what is funny about this joke?

Thank you in advance. |

People who use cocaine chop it up with a credit card or razor blade and lay it out in thin "lines" which they then sniff up their noses with a rolled up banknote, straw, or something similar.
This is sometimes called, "Doing lines". |

And when an actor practices or rehearses his part, he reads his lines from the script and tries to remember them. This is called reading lines. So this is a lame pun on doing lines / reading lines. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |

| Thank you , CP and asterix, for your information about the pun on the word "lines," which I couldn't have gotten in any other way than being a drug addict myself. Thank you again. |
