Hi there,
I think I know what the following sentence means but was hoping if I could get some clarity on it.

" I saw many bright spots of light from which to build on."

This is probably a takeoff on a saying from the past that talked about 1000 points of light. (See link regarding Peggy Noonan, now a WSJ columnist and George W. Bush. It originally referred to community organizations).

My take on it is that basically, this means that those points of lights represent opportunities upon which to build. This implies that if you pick one opportunity and concentrate on it, it could possibly lead to success.[url][/url]
