Is there any clear distinction between cohesion and coherence?
Thank you.

Cohesion is about things sticking together, acting or working as a unit etc. You could say different groups planning to work together have a cohesive strategy.

Coherence has some similar meanings, but we also say things are coherent if they're logical or they make sense. A coherent argument is one that is sensible and doesn't contradict itself. If someone is in an accident and the doctor asks them some questions, and they can't speak properly or the words don't make sense, the doctor would say they're incoherent.

They're also specific scientific terms for a few things, so it's worth checking the dictionary if you need to know those!
