hi!
I'm a student from Taiwan,
recently I have a ESL class at university.
I have this little problem....
I can't tell the differences between two words "continuous" and "consecutive".
Hope you could help me, thank you very much!!!! |

Consecutive means one after the other in order, e.g. you could work consecutive Mondays (one Monday, the next Monday, the one after that...). (Basically as a sequence - A, B, C and D are consecutive letters of the alphabet.)
Continuous means without stopping - if you work continuously you don't take a break. If you have continuous rainfall then you won't see much sunshine! |
