hi!
I'm a student from Taiwan,
recently I have a ESL class at university.

I have this little problem....
I can't tell the differences between two words "continuous" and "consecutive".

Hope you could help me, thank you very much!!!!

Consecutive means one after the other in order, e.g. you could work consecutive Mondays (one Monday, the next Monday, the one after that...). (Basically as a sequence - A, B, C and D are consecutive letters of the alphabet.)

Continuous means without stopping - if you work continuously you don't take a break. If you have continuous rainfall then you won't see much sunshine!
