I liked the movies as well, though I need to read the books again. I haven't read those in six years.

If I may make a correction:
The title is "Lord of the Rings." I suspect the katakana version of the would be "ro- do," as you can see in the lamentable "ASCII Art" below. This is another case of those pesky English r's and l's causing problems. . .

I like THE LORD OF THE RINGS too,almost the last part,it's great!
But does anyone else thought it likes a PC game which named WARCRAFT3?the same orcs same elfs.
that's very interesting to clear who copied each other?

if you did know a little more The Lord of the Ring, you wouldn't say that it copied Warcraft3. Indeed, it is first a book, written by Tolkien, who is the father of heroic fantasy......

Actually, it was the other way around--most fantasy entertainment created in the last 50 years copies something from Tolkien. This includes the Warcraft games, Dungeons and Dragons, other fantasy books, and even some movies and video games.

I like this movie, too. But I couldn't watch "Lode of the ring3" . So, I want to watch it . When I watch first version, I want to watch the second version soon . The main character's Frod(I don't know his spells) is very cool, I think and other character are, too . How about you ?

Hello. I am Japanese. I like watching TV. Recently I watched Load of the ring and Love actually. Load of the ring is very good. I was moved by this movie. But it is a little long so I was a little tired.

I haven't play game, but the film is excellent, especially the second. But I think the third film could be better. Many things were omited by Piter Jackson.

It's your opinion, JitkaJ, and I don't argue with you. There are a lot of successful moments in the third film. But what about Sauron? I think that hobbits' return to defeat Hobbitania is important in this history. It show that the War of the Rings wasn't the end.
