Are these sentences correct:
1-Harry and Jane are brother and sister.
2-Mr. and Mrs. Smith are doctor and nurse.
3-They are husband and wife.
4-They are two brothers and a sister.
5-They are brothers and sister. (meaning: a number of brothers and one sister.) |

They can be written as below:
1. Harry and Jane are brother and sister.
Harry and Jane are siblings.
2. Mr. Smith is a doctor and Mrs. Smith is a nurse.
3. They are husband and wife.
4. They are two brothers and a sister.
They are siblings.
5. They are brothers and a sister.
They are siblings.
