1. What does 'my right hon' mean?
2. What does 'on the point of my right hon' mean?
3. What does the above quotation mean?
Thanks. |

British politicians address each other as, "My right honourable friend". (Even when they hate each other). Honourable is often abbreviated to hon.
I do not think I shall comment on the point of my right honourable friend, means that he will not comment on some statement made by one of the opposition (probably) politicians.
As they are probably lying anyway, it is no loss. |
