Not many people have the chance of being a pioneer and experiencing a real-life adventure. But those who will go to live in this new undersea city will be able to do just that! There will be no suffering here. In fact it is so comfortable that it has been described as "a silk adventure".
What does "a silk adventure" in this context?

A silk adventure means that it's not really an adventure, because all the danger and discomfort has been removed.
e.g. if you go up the Amazon in a dugout canoe, camping along the way, it's an adventure.
If you go in a luxurious passenger boat it's a silk adventure. |
