The following are extracted from a travel pamphlet:
The ticket is valid on all buses and comes with a tear-off voucher for our bus tours.
Can you paraphrase the underlined sentence?
2. The Go-edinburgh Ticket is:
...
The best way to see the sights
comes with a 24-hour GRAND TICKET voucher for use on our open-top Edinburgh Bus Tours.
Do "the Go-edinburgh Ticket " and "a 24-hour GRAND TICKET voucher" (as underlined) refer to the same thing? |

A tear off voucher is a part of the original ticket that has some value towards a sightseeing bus tour offered by the same company.
The Go-Edinburgh ticket is the name they have given to one of their tickets. It probably entitles you to a bus ride to Edinburgh.
the 24 hour grand ticket voucher, is perhaps a portion of the Go-Edinburgh ticket. If you tear it off it can be used to ride on their open top
buses that take you on tours of the City of Edinburgh. It is valid for 24 hours, so that probably means you can ride all their sightseeing buses as many times as you like for 24 hours.
An open top bus is a double decker bus that has the roof cut off, so you can sit on the top deck in the open air and admire the city's interesting places. It's better for photography because there is no glass in the way. |
