2-He refused to help me and did not tell anyone to do so.
(...did not tell anyone to help me)
3-He did not speak French to me and prevented my sister from doing it.
4-He did not speak French to me and prevented my sister from doing so.
(... prevented my sister from speaking French with me)
5-My mother did not drive me to the airport and did not pay for it. (... did not pay for me to be driven to the airport) |

1-He refused to help me and did not tell anyone else to do it.
2-He refused to help me and did not tell anyone else to do so.
3-He did not speak French to me and prevented my sister from doing it.
4-He did not speak French to me and prevented my sister from doing so.
I prefer 4).
5-My mother did not drive me to the airport and did not pay for it.
Rather than "it" a taxi would be clearer. |
