The following is my question:

__________ you invite will not welcome here, for you always fight againt me.
(A) No matter whom (B) Whatever (C) Whichever (D) Whomever

The answer is (D), but how about (A)? In the above sentence, is there any difference between No matter whom and Whomever?

Thanks for your kind help.
